The Young Outstanding Singaporeans Awards, organised by Orchid Jayceettes of Singapore, seeks to honour, support and encourage Young Outstanding Singaporeans who impact, inspire and serve society in a positive way through their contributions in their respective fields of excellence. 

The Orchid Jayceettes of Singapore has created Awards Programs Recognition since 1983 for Outstanding Individuals in Singapore who excel & adhere to the Junior Chamber International Creed of leading purposeful lives in excellence & service to humanity.

Some of its past awardees include Dr Fatimah Binte Abdul Lateef, Mr Douglas Foo Peow Yong, Dr William Tan, Dr Vivian Balakrishnan. Dr Darren Chua is very honoured to be a recipient of the 2011 YOS Award.
